In 1985 Miraldo Walden aka DJ Cut Nice from Rotterdam, The Netherlands started DJ’ing for another Rotterdam based rapper called E-life. Toghether they made a little name for themselves and performed in small local venues. Today many many years later rapper E-life has become one of the most influential and succesfull MC’s in The Netherlands and DJ Cut Nice has become one of the most populair Break DJ’s in the international BBoy scene.
In the first part of his DJ career DJ Cut Nice mainly focused on playing old and new school Hip Hop music but as years past and his record collection and interests for black music grew he also started playing more and more Soul, Funk, Ragga and Dance Hall music. At a certain point he decided to dig into a huge never touched record collection left to him by his passed away father. From that moment on DJ Cut Nice got deeper and deeper into the world of Beat Breaks, old and new Funk, and latin grooves. Through his long career and years of experience DJ Cut Nice is one of the very view Break DJ’s with the capacity to truly blend Hip Hop, Funk and Breakbeats and present it into his very own unique style.
