Born in the magical year of 1975, That Fucking Sara’s first contact to Hip Hop was through electric boogie. Back in 1983, she forced her mum to buy her the “Hey You The Rock Steady Crew 7,” which got her forever hooked on vinyl and eventually led to her activities on the decks roughly a decade later. In Copenhagen, she was part of the collectives organising Dameulove – a monthly series of concerts and dj gigs by female artists – and Ladyfest Denmark. Since relocating to Berlin in 2005, she’s enriched the town’s nightlife with her Hip Hop, disco, electro, grime and italo tunes at evenings such as Skon Sondag – a weekly Sunday ritual at Kreuzberg’s Möbel Olfe.
