Mad C got in contact with graffiti by reading the book , “Graffiti Art” while living in a small village in Germany as there weren’t many possibilities to paint and no scene what so ever, she only painted about 10 walls a year and spend most of the time with sketching on paper that was in 1996 while she went to High school
She was fascinated by the whole world connected with graffiti, the fantastic possibilities that a spray can offers and the interesting personalities behind the pieces she started doing letters, with the time also characters, but her main focus were and are letters/pieces/styles.
She started studying graphic design at a University in the centre of Germany called Halle, she got more and more involved with the German graffiti scene and became a member of the Bandits crew and put her main focus on detailed concept walls. Through the years she travelled a lot and was invited to several jams in Europe, some places she went to: Ireland, UK, Czech Republic, Sweden, Austria, Netherlands, Switzerland, Denmark, Spain, Lebanon, USA
Mad C now she works as a freelance designer and animator as well as an author and artist. Her first book “sticker city” was published in May 2007 by Thames & Hudson. At the moment she is researching her second book on Style writing.
